LN MINI COMPACT 23
The LN unit consists of three Mini axes that are fixed using adapters to form a complete unit. The design of the device combines flexibility, stability, high resolution, and a drift-free experience. The X-axis patch angle can be adjusted on a continuous basis. All mechanical components are equipped with grounding points. The unit is available with a turn adapter, back-fold adapter, or the fast exchange system. This precise and reliable manipulator was invented in 1993 and thanks to our service policy, first-generation systems are still used in laboratories worldwide. Up to 8 manipulators can be fitted around the optical system.
Specs:
Travel in XYZ: 25 mm
Motor resolution: 4,8 nm
Reproducibility: less than 1 micron
Weight (complete Unit): 2,2 kg
Spindel lead: 0,5 mm
Smallest reproducible step: 20 nm
The robust construction and wider body of the Mini Compact enable the device to hold and move heavy accessories such as drills, heavy headstages, or even custom-made accessories. This manipulator can also be operated coarsely, thanks to its robust design while maintaining well-known LN accuracy. The device can be mounted directly onto our round column system, V540 Stage, or directly onto the Antivibration table.
The device may also be mounted on a horizontal bar, allowing access from the top of the test area.

Compact manipulator line offers outstanding performance in terms of resolution, drift, and stability
The LN Junior Unit is suitable for InVivo and InVitro applications. The Unit can be mounted directly onto stereotaxis frames, breadboards, columns, or our T-Slot system of the Multipatch Platform. Three or four Junior axes are linked together to form the entire unit. The unit’s design combines flexibility with stability, high resolution, and drift freedom. The x-axis patch angle can be adjusted steplessly. All mechanical components are equipped with earthing sockets. Up to 12 LN Junior Multipatch units can be placed onto the Multipatch system. Turn- or back-fold adapters are not required when using our fast exchange system.
Different versions are available with 8 mm, 16 mm, 23 mm, and 28 mm of range. That allows you to assemble the Unit depending on your needs.
Specs:
Travel in XYZ: 23 mm (standard)
Motor resolution: 3,9 nm
Reproducibility: less than 1 micron
Weight (complete Unit): from 0,7 kg
Spindel lead: 0,4 mm
Smallest reproducible step: 20 nm
By disassembling parts of the LN Junior, we were able to develop a cost-effective manipulator with the same stability, reliability, and resolution as the LN Junior itself. The main difference between Junior and Junior Compact is the alternative patch-angle. With the Junior, you can physically change the angle. The Junior Compact is built with three orthogonal axes and the patch axis is generated as a virtual movement. Because of these changes, we are able to offer the same mechanical quality at a lower price.

LN PCS
PIPETTE CLEANING SYSTEM
Immediate reuse of patch- clamp pipettes after ultrasonic cleaning, a chemical-free procedure that protects your cells.
How are we cleaning without chemicals?
Ultrasonic is the most effective way to clean any glass in a lab or industrial environment. By using the perfect Ultrasonic-Frequency for glass, particles get loosened and flushed away. We downsized the ultrasound mechanism to fit it inside our electrode holder. This enables us to clean electrodes without endangering cells with toxic chemical residues.
Clean your pipette using patented ultrasonic waves, no Alconox or cleaning solutions required.
We do it the smart way by not using cleaning solutions and instead of cleaning the recording pipette with ultrasonic. The LN-PCS combines the best of both worlds, removing particulates from your recording electrode using ultrasonic and flushing them away using over and under pressure. There is no need for rinsing or using chemicals.
The ultrasonic mechanism and connection for over/under pressure implemented in our new electrode stabilization holder
Slim design ready for multipatch requirements
No over/under pressure connection is needed in your lab, and No PC software is required
Because it is a standalone system, you don’t need to have an external over/under pressure connection. Using the SM10 remote control you are able to activate the system and adjust it to your preferences, with no need for software on your PC.
Modular System from 1-12 channels/pipettes
The system design offers a simple way to upgrade to additional channels. That way you are able to expand your science gradually.
Do you need a custom-designed chamber?
No, because we don’t require a chamber for Alconox or a rinsing solution. The system is compatible with any chamber on the market. Falcon or NUNC dishes, Slice chambers from LN, Warner Instruments, or any existing chamber.
